Throughout my professional endeavors, I have instructed at the customer, patron, and colleague levels for libraries, software organizations, and academic institutions. As an information technology specialist for two healthcare software companies, I trained users, both internally within the institution and externally to user clients. I also served as a library instructor and developed a syllabus and course structure for both an “Introduction to Microsoft Word” and an “Introduction to Computers” class. In the academic field, I have acted as a lecturer, bibliographic instructor, teaching assistant and international student mentor. As a lecturer I developed a lecture for a western civilization History course and presented students a collection of primary documents of geographical resources using ARTstor. I partnered with fellow colleagues to assist students with bibliographic instruction and provided access to resources through the use of a workshop. As a teaching assistant I collaborated on an outcomes assessment program and collected student data to determine future class course structures.
